Core Competency Self-Assessment

This assignment was extremely easy because you could find a quote that was very obvious to what they were saying. The pictures were enjoyable to make. Some lyrics in the song had historical meaning which I am fond of especially when I understand what they mean.

Curricular Response

I drew the image of a white man shooting an Indigenous person. This image is to show how Indigenous peoples are resourceful. Whereas colonizers are based on their technology. I drew the state California and the state of New York. I drew this image because I have family in California which give a personal connection to the state and it was an easy quote to draw.
