My 2022/23 year
- Although I have taken pre calculus 11 three times, I was determined to take pre calculus 12, and I have managed to keep a B in the course, which I’m proud of.
- I took the AP psychology exam in May, this was the first “big” exam I have taken which was a good thing to experience before I go to post secondary. I’m excited to see my score in July.
- I got accepted into the health sciences program at SFU. This was a huge accomplishment for me, i didn’t think that my grades would be quite high enough to be accepted, but I did it. I’m quite excited to move out of high school.
Areas to Improve
Goals • Minimizing stress in my first year of university | Action Plans • I won’t take too many courses in the first semester because I know that university can be an overwhelming jump from high school. Minimizing the number of courses that I start with will hopefully help me be less overwhelmed as I start university. |
• Keep myself social in post secondary | • I want to make sure that I still make friends and do things that I’m interested in while going to university. I’m planning to make sure to look into clubs that interest me, and meet people with similar interests as mine. |
• Manage my time wisely | • I want to make sure I manage my time between studying and coursework, my social life, and my job. Once I have a course schedule, I will make sure to manage my working time and everything else that I have going on. |
