Media Fluency Reflection

A. How was the ease of access in building your flipbook, despite this being the free and limited version of the software?

It was easy to find and create a flipbook with the free version. Although, without instructions, I wouldn’t have been able to find what I needed so easily.

B. Were you able to apply the skills you learned in the planning stages appropriately to a digital environment?

I was able to apply the skills I was taught, but not all of them because some were not needed. I do know my way around the internet and software so it was not too difficult.

C. What were the sources you researched that made this an “authentic make-believe” American Revolution flipbook?

I used Britannica and History for most of my work and research as well as the class notes on teams. I also used Wikipedia for dates and basic information.

D. Is there other software online that could have done the job better? Did you use another software instead? Explain.

I could have used Powerpoint to make the flipbook, but I wouldn’t have been able to create the same effects as a real flipbook, and I don’t enjoy using Microsoft for anything because it is annoying and difficult so I found this website more helpful. I would use Flipsnack again if and when I get the chance for other subject.
