“May the petals teach me the art of letting go.”
-Xan Oku
As you grow, you change. Things change, and people change. And sometimes you just need to accept it even if you don’t like the thought of it just like a flower. This quote reminds me that I should be grateful for what I have at the moment. Every single moment, memory, and person are apart of your life. But sometimes it changes things and those things may not be there anymore. And it changes you. I chose this quote to remind myself that sometimes its good to let go of what you have. And it’s part of learning who you are and exploring as you grow.
My Favourite Youtube Video
Picture that I chose
This is a photo that I chose from my camera that I took in the Philippines. It’s one of my favourite photos that I took but its not the main reason why I chose it. Why I really chose it was because it held a lot of memories to a place I don’t often go to. Especially to see my other relatives, and learn more about my background since I was born here in Canada. Looking at this picture brings back that feeling of nostalgia and memories that I shall drag on with me.
My favourite website
One of my favourite sites beside youtube is Pinterest. The reason why I chose it is because when it comes to art, it has great inspiration and images to help me build off ideas from. It’s simple and easy to use to find what you’re really looking for.
The history of my birthday
-David Berkowitz, a serial killer in New York in 1976-1977 gets a 6 life-sentence after murdering 6 people. He is also known as the “Son of Sam” which is referring to a man named Sam Carr who ordered him to murder others. He’s now a born-again Christian as which he now goes by the “Son of Hope” to say that’s he’s sorry for what he has done but decided to make that choice to stay behind bars.
-Mount Pinatubo in the city of Luzon, Philippines, was the second largest volcanic eruption takes place in 1991. It caused earthquakes and landslides caused from the pressure applied to the earths crust.
