Core Competency
In performing the dissection, I demonstrated collaboration by ensuring that the tasks were distributed evenly. My partner and I made sure that each of us got a turn to cut, connect observations to what we had learned and asking and answering the questions that we had. In connecting ideas, we took learning from what we may have read in the textbook or the demonstration that Mr. Asano had done before hand and shared it with each other to help enhance each others understanding of the concept where it was needed. Similarly, I demonstrated critical/reflective thinking by making judgements based on information we were provided with. This includes the diagrams of the parts of the pigs, connecting which certain parts where in certain regions and the visual of them. My partner and I also made sure to ask questions in areas that we were unsure of.
