Brussel sprouts ad.

Brussels sprouts are very good for you and are very healthy. Many people don’t like it, but it is very good. Brussel sprouts are the best when roasted, in my opinion.

  • Brussels sprouts have a lot of vitamin K, which is necessary for blood clotting and bone health
  • they’re also have a lot of vitamin C, this helps tissue repair and immune function.
  •  Brussel sprouts also are high fiber and it helps support regularity and gut health.
  • Brussel sprouts also have vitamin B6, potassium, iron, thiamine, magnesium and phosphorus.

cooking at home

today I have made a poke bowl.

last week I made a buddha bowl which made me think of what I could make for this week. I thought of foods that I liked and foods that go well with each other to create a awesome dish. I thought to myself that I really liked sushi and I wanted to do something with fish, and sense I made a buddha bowl could make a poke bowl. this week i did the dishes and I took out the garbage. yes, I have been told to do this task before. it feels good doing things to help your parents out. not too much of an impact because its not that hard to do those tasks. maybe slightly but not really. in my house, when ever my parents need help or what me or my sister to do something we have to do it. it will always be this way and will probably never change. I knew I would be successful in this task because I do it a lot and its easy. I had one challenge, it was when I was doing the fish. I overcame this by asking for help. I asked my mom, she told me what to do and I did as she said. yes, I will definitely make this dish again, it was very good and tasty. it looked amazing too. I would change something next time, I would change the fish and maybe try a different kind of fish and see how that tastes.

working as a team

today I made Minestrone Soup with bread on the side.

it turned out very well and it tasted great.

sorry my 2nd picture kept on turning side ways no matter what I did. I fixed it and it just kept turning side ways.

I talked to my parents about what I could do to help them with and they said I could do the dishes/dishwasher.

I would do this every day after we eat a meal.

While doing the dishes I could run into some difficulties such as, dirt not coming off the dishes.

I am not being asked of something I don’t know how to do. When my parents ask me to do something, I have probably done it before, and I know how to do it.

Knife Skills

This lab went well for our group. Are hard work during this lab paid off we made wonderful omelettes. we did well following the recipe, but when someone needed help or was struggling to do something we all tried to help. another thing we did well was are communication. for the first two labs we struggled a bit because we were just getting to know each other, but when we knew each other we were constantly talking and communicating. Are challenges during this lab was when we were cooking them, because there were only 2 pans and we had to take turns. when we were cooking the omelettes we struggled to flip one side over, because when we flipped one side over the omelette ripped. I used knife skills in this lab. I had to cut different kinds of veggies and fruits such as peppers, tomatoes, spinach, and onions. when holding a knife you must put your thumb and finger on the heel of the blade which is the back of the blade. we haven’t learned many knife cuts but I learned how to dice and thats what I used during the lab. If you don’t cut your veggies in equal pieces one could be under cooked.
