Curricular Competency Reflection
I did not make a powerpoint. I instead wrote a general script. It’s attatched to the original presentation assignment. My poem and background ambiance that I made are attatched too.
An example of where I built upon someone else’s ideas is making a tale in the form of a poem. Stories are important in Indigenous culture so I decided to make something similar. I made a poem because it can tell a story in an artistic form.
Examples of where I communicate clearly and purposefully can be seen in my presentation. I did not go on about details nobody would remember. I made the important points clear and concise. I also left out details that would spoil the story.
In discussions and conversations, I help to build and extend understanding by listenting to my classmates and analyzing their words. I tried to understand their prespective on the book they chose. At the same time, I tried to slot the new information into my database to discover new ways of looking at a topic.
