Creating a model factory town

Explanation/brief history: Wellspringville was founded when a group of 17 friends went for a hike in the plains of Ireland around a hundred years ago. While the group of friends were hiking they all got tired and decided to set up a camp where Wellspringville would eventually be, these friends liked it so much there because of its climate and fresh water source, wildlife, and its livestock. That group of friends decided to makes some shelters there and a few years after that people came and it started to become more popular.

A. How was the ease of access in building the town, and what software did you use specifically?
The site I used was rollforfantasy.com I found it somewhat confusing when I first started using it, but after a while of playing around with it I eventually figured it out.
B. Were you able to apply the skills you learned in the planning stages appropriately to a digital environment?
Yes, at first I was unsure on where I should start but as soon as I started going I felt like I got the hang of it. I also help the video we were shown in class about what a factory town should be like helped me out a lot.
C. What were the sources you researched that made this an “authentic make-believe” town?
I didn’t really use any sources besides from a video that we saw in class. I mainly went off of the stuff we have learned in class and what we have read in our novel study for the book Lyddie. Another thing that helped me was that I read through the rubric a couple of times and that gave me on a idea on how to better my project.
D. Is there other software online that could have done the job better? Explain
Yes there probably was but I felt like the one I used did the job fine. Other sites I think could have done the job would have been Minecraft and maybe even fortnite. I think these two would both work because you would be able to see a lot more with those sites.
