Waffles and Crepes

A slide from my food blog

Making and Sharing Reflection

I made the waffles by myself; my other teammates made the crepes. While we were cooking, I was asking my teammates if my waffles looked good and their reply was sort of because look at the photo it looks really crispy, but I think that’s because of the whole wheat flour that got added. In this lab I was forced to share my waffles with my teammates since I made so many, but I also got to try out the crepe, so it pretty much evened out in the end. The sweet and sourness of the blueberry sauce mixed with the maple syrup, the very airy whipped cream, and soft tender butter help this dish a whole lot. If it was just by itself with no topping it wouldn’t be very good since it would have no flavor. The texture of the waffles and crepes were nice, the crispy waffles need to the thin delicate crepes is a nice contrast.

When I need to work collaboratively with people I don’t know well, I make sure they know what they’re doing and ask if they need help so we don’t slack behind

While working in the kitchen, I help to build and extend understanding by asking the teacher question when needed or when I’m struggling to understand.
