Creating a Positive Digital Footprint
I have used a website called Piktochart. I have used this website before when I was in middle school. This website is very easy to use with variety of design options. When I was thinking about what design I should do, I wanted to keep it cool but simple. So, I just created my own without any premade templates. In the notes inside my poster, I have decided to add a simple tip for better protection in the digital world. Having this type of project, it gave me an opportunity to learn new things about digital world. At first I had no clue what digital footprint was and why having positive digital footprint was important. But now with the research, I have learned lots about it.

Personal/Social Competency Reflection
I know that my digital footprint can have both positive and negative consequences including my future jobs and university applications so I will adjust my actions to create and maintain positive digital footprint. After doing some research about the digital footprint, I am going to think smart and make my choices precisely so it means nothing bad to other people. I am now more cautious when it comes to commenting on my friend’s post. However, if there’s a negative consequence of something, there is always a positive consequence as well. For example, sharing people about my interests and knowing each other well is a proficient way to stay active with other people and it is probably not a negative consequence.
Some of my preferred strategies for maintaining a healthy, balanced online presence include checking my social media before going to bed. Sometimes I am afraid that I will eventually share a post that would be racist against other country people or hurt people’s feelings that are LGBTQ+. So, I double check my post and my story post to see if its appropriate and doesn’t harm people in different ways.
Some of the ways I work to build and maintain online relationships are staying in contact with my friends and check if they are alive and healthy. I think that it is very important to stay in contact with your online relationships (friends) because I have lost couple of my friends by not chatting for over 2 years. After I have recognized who he was in the public, he wouldn’t recognize me and say “who are you”. It was not the best feeling when it comes to losing a friend. After that happened, I try to stay contact with other people saying “Good Morning” and “Good Night” so that they do not forget about my existence.
