I think history is written by the winners, because winners seem to write their own interpretation of the victory rather than the non-glorified view. They want the world to see their glorified narrative of how they won, but hide the actual truth from the losers of the battle. We think of the Tsar as bad as they’re the ones that died, and we see Bolsheviks as good presently. If it was switched around, we would see Tsar as the good people, and Bolsheviks as bad.

I can analyze evidence to make judgement. I used these skills to complete a worksheet where my partner and I had to analyze pictures from the Great Depression. We used pictures/evidence to answer multiple questions regarding the pictures, such as, “how do you think the people in the picture are feeling? Explain why.” We continued to do this for 3 pictures, and had a class talk about all of the pictures afterward.
