In our Spanish 11 class we wrote a script by using reflexive verbs to create a storyline of Romeo and Juliet. I’ve learnt how to incorporate vocabulary, use transitional phrases, and use reflexive verbs in my sentences to make it sound more natural. This was a fun assignment and I would do it again!
This assignment was to create an acrostic poem based off of Valentines day. My poem connected to creative writing, because I had to think of my own romantic sentences for my acrostic poem. I was able to think of my sentences by looking at our Spanish vocab sheet and getting inspired from it. I strengthened my thinking in this by opening my mind a bit more and using words that I’ve never used before. With the inspiration of my friends and other mediums, I was able to successfully create a creative acrostic poem. Areas I wish to improve in, is creating longer and more detailed sentences. I will continue to try harder on a similar assignment next time!
