English 9 Final Reflection

Status

When I need to boost my mood or re-focus, I take a break. I’ll sit and watch some videos, eat/drink something or read for a little. I find that it helps me If I’m doing something for too long of an amount of time. For an example I worked on Figurative Poem Analysis for a long amount of time without a break and  it didn’t turn out as great because of being un focused.

This visual representation reflects the Core Competency: Personal/Social and how I grew in that competency in English 9. The words represent my thoughts. I chose to symbolize my thoughts as a thumbs up because it represents doing okay. I have taken a couple of mins to re-focus and now I’m doing okay.

Communication

My project is about a game of truth or dare. You click on the underlined words to answer a question or to get to the next slide. I used program called twine. I communicated with my partners in person, over text and with video chat. We all talked about our ideas and put something together that had bits from all our story lines Maren and I did the rough draft of the actual writing because Alethea was away. After though Alethea added all the pictures and the sound that Maren and I found. When we were making the twine we didn’t really run into any problems; Alethea was away for most of it but like I said she still did a lot afterwards and we texted through out it. I’m satisficed with how it turned out though next time I would try and add more sounds as well as doing something with a happier storyline.
