Personal/Social Competency Reflection
I know that my digital footprint can have both negative and positive consequences. Some of the negative consequences are people finding your location, people finding pictures you have recently deleted and do not want anybody to see, and people finding your personal information. (address, phone number, email, etc.) Some of the positive consequences are people you know being able to see your location and where you have been if needed, and being able to see things you have done on the internet to access it easier. I adjust my actions to be more careful with settings on apps (Location, access photos, etc.), and being more careful what messages I send to friends because they will never go away.
Some of my preferred strategies for maintaining a healthy, balanced online presence are not saying rude stuff and being nice online, being social, balancing my online and real life, and learning new things.
I think my experiences as a digital citizen, such as watching videos and movies, reading online books, and other things influenced my choice of hobbies because I only started to enjoy reading after reading online and I have learned how to do many things I became interested in like baking and jewelry making by watching videos online.
