I showed my communication skills by asking for help when I didn’t understand what I was supposed to be doing. I got an 89% on the project.
Most of the things i chose were because they were things i enjoy such as art, music and video games or things that are generally incorporated in the way I act in my day to day life like comedy and socializing.
Head = 17.55
Arm 1 = 12.75
Arm 2 = 12.75
Torso = 37.5
Legs = 45
I calculated the percentages of the body by measuring squares around the different parts and calculating the area. Then I added the squares to calculate the total area then I calculated the percentages of the individual body parts by dividing their areas by the total areas, multiplying by one hundred and heavily simplifying the answer.
I will put all of my money into stocks.
Calculations
3 Year Stocks EAG
Year 1: 80,000 x 1.075 + 10,000= $96,000
Year 2: 96,000 x 1.075 + 10,000= $113,200
Year 3: 113,200 x 1.075 + 10,000= $131,690
3 Year Stocks: 3 Year EAG 1 bad Year
Year 1: 80,000 x 0.9134 + 10,000= $83,072
Year 2: 83,072 x 1.075 + 10,000= $99,302.40
Year 3: 99,302.40 x 1.075 + 10,000= $116,750.08
my group chose this option because of it’s fast results getting you a lot of money quickly and it’s dependance on skill making it more controlled to a degree, however if stocks drop in value your income will slow to a crawl making this option somewhat risky.
I am a somewhat high risk person which makes this option perfectly align with my risk tolerance because of it’s high risk and high reward.
I should have contributed much more to this project because the other member of my group voluntarily did all the calculations and decision making while I slacked off, he even said that I did research in his own project to make me look better. Overall I would rate my ability to collaborate with my group a 0-4 and it’s entirely my fault.
I made a cool graph demonstrating my mastery of Microsoft Excel and cool graphs. I also now know how to use excel better. Yay!
I will try to contribute more on future projects. I will also try to communicate better on future projects.
I now have a better understanding of stocks and how they work.
I reflected on my own bad habits while making my cool graph featuring the rest of my project.
In art I demonstrated communication by Talking to my friends way too much. I also demonstrated it through my watercolor paintings. A goal I will set for myself for next semester is to get my work done a lot faster because I struggled with that in a lot in the beginning of art.
I now understand that my safety in a textile workshop could be tied into how safety is maintained in
that workshop environment.
I now understand what is important to me in how I am treated and valued in a work environment
and I can explain my values.
I did analyze evidence from the research I did and make judgments.
between fact and opinion.
I figured out how my avatar would look by looking at the protagonist’s silhouette on the cover of the book. I chose the plot points I did by thinking about the most important points in the story that affected each other. I know that books usually tell you the setting of a story, other than that I don’t really know what else to say. Mood in stories and movies is what separates comedy from tragedy, put simply it is the media’s atmosphere. At first, I was just looking for one of my favorite youtubers’ credits theme, Taxi past Turning Torso | glaciære | Stevia Sphere (bandcamp.com) but then I found the artist who made it and their other songs, but I couldn’t decide on just one, so I chose a bunch of them which led to a whole bunch of other problems, yay. If I’m being completely honest, I absolutely DESPISED this project, but it also introduced me to some pretty good music, so it isn’t all that bad.
Now it’s time for the worst part, the
Oh, how I hate your buzzwords.
This is how I select images and words to create impact for different audiences:
I kind of just typed in whatever I was looking for online and then after a minute or so of searching I found an image that worked, or an image I already saw that I wanted to put in.
I appreciate feedback on… and prefer it comes in the form of…
I’m fine with criticism in any form, so I give you permission to demolish any bit of self-esteem I have left in me. I DON’T GIVE A DAMN IF MY CRITICISIM IS SOFT-SERVED OR NOT!
An example of an idea I developed that was new to my peers is…
As far as I know, I’m the only one in my class who put multiple music tracks in their presentation, so I think that counts as a new idea.
My digital footprint: Keeping me safe
Internet safety is important because if you’re not careful you could be at risk of losing a potential job, getting stalkers or even identity theft. some examples of unsafe activities include posting inappropriate pictures or comments, disrespect copyright laws, and posting your name or where you live. some steps you can take to stay safe online are encrypting your network by buying a VPN, never sharing personal data on public WI-fi, and checking your privacy settings.
Personal/Social Competency Reflection
Some of my preferred strategy for maintaining a balanced online presence is not posting on social media at all. Except for THAT ONE TIME… WE DON’T TALK ABOUT THAT ONE TIME.
I make digital ethical choices such as asking myself if i should comment in a post in order to keep my digital footprint clean. The answer is usually no.
I think my experiences as a digital citizen, like watching YouTube videos influences my choice of hobbies because sometimes I see something cool like a guy sculpting Shrek on YouTube and my monkey brain is like OH, COOL THING, WANT TO TRY and sometimes it turns out to be something i enjoy. I haven’t tried Sculpting Shrek
