For my last cooking assignment I decided to make fettuccine Alfredo with a Caesar salad, and bruschetta. This dish smelt really rich, and cheesy. The pasta was smooth and creamy and had a little bit of a garlic taste to it. The Caesar salad was crunchy and fresh. The bruschetta was really fresh and really flavourful and wasn’t overwhelming. The three courses all had a bit of a garlic taste to it , and the difference between them were that the salad and bruschetta weren’t filling and the pasta was so they went well together. I believe I showed skills when I made the bruschetta because I had never made it before and I just made up a recipe and I really understood what flavours worked and what flavours didn’t. I didn’t want to make something culturally identifying because even though I am Indian I wanted to show that I love and respect every culture and I wanted to show that side of me. I love to travel and explore different foods.
