Core Competency Self-Reflection

Collaboration

When solving questions in group work, each member does a question and we take turns, instead of doing the question right away we like to explain like we are teaching the others when solving problems. Our goal in our group is to make sure everyone is on the same level on understanding. When solving this question 1 we read the question properly so we knew what to look for. Knowing that increasing is positive slope and decreasing is negative slope we were able to find the interval for a and b. Concave up is like a smiley face while the concave down is frowning, we easily knew that. The hardest part was e, we had to reference our notes since we forgot what to do but it came back to us and we found the coordinates. In a group setting I need to work on connecting my group with other groups, if a group asks for help we always try our best to help. Sometimes we struggle communicating with the other groups and tend to rely on our notes or ask the teacher more often than other groups.
