My Bio
Hello, my name is Catherine. I am currently in grade 9 and enjoying my first year at Centinial. Below this are some paragraphs about me.
The best way for me to show what I know is through creative projects. This way I can further learn and review the subject while enjoying the process of making my project. Along with having fun, I tend to explore new ideas that can help me with future assignments.
My most challenging course is math. Math has always been difficult to grasp. I feel that it might be because I have a hard time focusing on math work, as my mind wanders off a lot. I think and hope that if I work hard enough I will be able to understand Math.
When something is difficult for me, I usually take a nap and try again after. Sleeping can release the stress that was probably preventing me from working to my full potential. When I wake up from my sleep, I can face my problems with an open mind and a clear head. This would be much more efficient than working with a tired brain.

I spend a lot of my time on YouTube either on philosophy channels or “storytimes”. I don’t necessarily find any of these videos very entertaining, but it is nice to play them as background sound while I am working.

I believe this video will be useful for my ruined sleep schedule. Lately, I have been living on 4-5 hours of sleep every night. This is a problem since I need a full 7 hours of sleep to do my best work. To fix this problem, I have this video to give me reasons and encouragement to sleep early.
My favorite photo
The grandma above is Ms. Kim from the webtoon “Your Letter”. I read this back in February of 2019, and Ms. Kim was the only character that stuck with me. She had a quiet and shy personality that soon blossomed into a warmer, open character as the story went on. <3
