Breakfast Home Lab

For the breakfast home lab, I decided to make a breakfast sandwich for me and my family, and it went well. The bread on the sandwich was crispy and golden brown, and inside the sandwich, there were multiple colours and flavours that made the sandwich delicious. The house smelt like fresh food and eggs, and I could hear the food cooking and sizzling. The texture was different for everything and was smooth. I chose this sandwich over all the other ones because I could make it easier and I made it healthy plus it was delicious. Normally it is easier to make sandwiches plus I think they taste a lot better and has more nutrients in it. The challenges that I had was my timing, because I finished some of the food before the others, so some of it would get cold. I overcame this because I finished cooking it and then covered it with a microwave cover, so that it would stay warmer than if I didn’t do that. My greatest success is that I prepared the ingredients well and flipped the egg good so that the yolk didn’t pop. I am proud of this experience because I can now make a breakfast sandwich on my own. I am proud of this because before hockey, I can make it and eat it so that I can have more energy to play. My parents liked the sandwich and thought it was good, and now sometimes they make me cook breakfast.
