Interpretation is the stage where we take all the information we have collected, and start condensing and making sense of a potentially large and disparate set of data. To accomplish this we will be spending time telling stories, and sorting through what we found compelling during our interviews.
2-1 Telling Stories
The administration will be holding a meeting on April 3rd, be sure to come to this meeting with your notes and recordings from your visits and interviews.
2-2 Search for Meaning
Now that we have taken the time to share with our learning are there themes that are emerging? Are there Patterns? Do the themes overlap? Lets take some time to make sense of our findings.
2-3 Framing Opportunities
The IDEO design guide states that, “insights only become valuable when you act on them as inspiring opportunities.” The final step in the interpretation phase is to create actionable items from our data. To do this we will spend the last bit of our session to come up with questions that will be used to fuel our brainstorming during the ideation phase.
