The criminal justice system is crucial in ensuring that the citizens of our nation are safe and experience the health that our justice system is meant to bring. Currently, rehabilitation rather than the imposition of harsher punishments is the main focus of Canada’s criminal justice system. This undeniably has both good and bad aspects, and it has a wide range of effects on our country. I believe Canada should use harsher penalties when necessary because I believe it will make most people realize how bad choices can result in serious conflicts.
I can analyse evidence to make judgements
So far in law, I’ve learned multiple things and was able to apply them to real-life situations. I never realized how much the government is in control, and that’s why I’m going to escape the matrix. In a law assignment with many cases, we had to read and evaluate any data, evidence, and other relevant information and use it to draw conclusions about whether the person was guilty and, if so, what evidence supports that conclusion and why. As a result, I believe I’ve demonstrated my ability to use evidence to form moral judgments that produce a thorough understanding of the subjects being discussed.
