My Storyboard

Tim Burton, in Edward Scissorhands, used the scene where Edward saves Kevin from Jim hitting him with his car, in

order to make Edward look like the bad guy in the eyes of the people in the movie. For example, in my own interpretation, I changed the scene where Edward is on top of Kevin to a separate shot of both faces instead of having a double shot and i also did the same thing with the scene where Kim tells Edward to run. I also changed the scene where Edward is running to his house to make it look windy and rainy because in the movie it wasn’t scary and eerie enough. The scenes i kept were where Edward sees Kevin and saves him and the scene where Edward is running from everyone.

What does this mean in relation to the bigger themes of the movie? Why is this scene so important to you? This scene was very important to me because it showed the viewers watching the movie how many emotions that Edward was holding inside of him and it also showed how one sided all the peoples view of Edward were in the town.

What did I learn from this experience? I learnt that some people have challenges that they can’t fix and that we should not make fun of them for it because you don’t know what they’re going through or how hard their life is compared to another.
