Explanation/Brief History: Cedarville town has only been around for 50 years. It was founded in 1766 by Mr. Cedar, a young explorer from London, England. He was married to Mrs. Cedar and they had three youthful children together. Mr. Cedar was born into a wealthy family, so he used his money to create this town. The town was released and now has a small population. It is continuing to grow and inhabit more individuals as the years go by.
Media Fluency Reflection
Building my town was less complicated than I had expected. I used the software “Roll For Fantasy” to create the town. I found it extremely simple and straightforward to use. To plan this project, I wrote out the key ideas I wanted to include in my town such as, wishing wells, and a farmhouse. Doing this made it trouble-free when creating the digital copy. In our class, we have been reading the book “Lyddie”. In that book the main character worked in a factory, that gave me some knowledge about such things. I think this was the best and most efficient software to use when creating this town. Personally, I do not have Minecraft nor any app like that so “Roll For Fantasy” was a fantastic option for me. Overall, I am greatly pleased that I had an opportunity to participate in this project!
