creating a positive Digital footprint
personal/ social competency reflection
I know that my digital footprint can have both positive and negative consequences, including the way I portray myself on social medias. I understand that whoever I post never goes away. However, if I make my social medias appropriate it can have a good impact. I make sure to remember that my future employer or future teachers should see what I have on my social medias so I make sure to think before I post.
Some of my preferred strategies for maintaining a healthy, balanced online presence include taking brakes for my phone. The reason I do this is so that I don’t spend my entire day on the internet. Another thing that I do is set limits for myself, and make sure that I don’t go over them. Another thing that I do is only allow friends and family to follow my social media accounts. Those are just a few of the many ways I make sure to keep a healthy online presence.
By doing my part in making sure my online community is a safe and heathy place to be, I make a positive difference to my peers. I do this by making sure I think before I post, being nice to strangers and friends and having good online security.
