World War One Soldier Letter
Socials Reflection
Self Reflection
- This assignment shows my creative writing skills, and understanding of a WW1 Soldier.
- Creative Thinking: I can form new ideas to create new things. I can also build on the ideas of others.
- I chose this assignment because I felt like I did a pretty good job on it.
- I learned about the struggles and terror that the soldiers had to go through in WW1, especially in the trenches.
Core Competency Reflection
- I am kind to others, and support others when they need it, I showed this when I worked in group activities, I contributed and tried to get others to contribute to the projects.
- I demonstrate respectful, inclusive behaviour, I showed this when I sat in different groups, with different peers, and tried to greet them.
- I can persevere over time to develop my ideas, and I expect setbacks and failure, but use that to develop my ideas, I showed this when I had to write paragraphs for tests by making a rough copy on a separate piece of paper, then improving on my good copy.
- I can ask open-ended questions to gather information, I showed this by asking questions during lessons/note taking.
I can improve on “I participate in classroom or group activities that improve the class, school, or community.” Though I ask questions once in a while, I could participate a little more. To improve, I have to continue to fight my nervousness and have a little more confidence in myself.
