PIGGY DISSECTION
I can ask and respond to questions to be an active, supportive listener. I did this by watching the cuts by my teacher first then doing them on my pig later. Asking questions to my partner that has done the dissection before on where the different parts are.
I can tell the difference between facts and opinions. I can do this by identifying the part of the pig with a diagram and relaying that into the pig. Facts are true statements like the pig has a heart and opinions are statements that are general like the pigs diaphragm is around here.
I can ask open-ended questions to gather information. The information that I gather is useful to everybody in our group. Questions that I have I say just incase other people have the same ones. being on the verge of saying my questions and not saying them is the worst thing I do, holding on to questions that I have and not saying it is something that I have to change.
