Curricular Reflection

This writing piece shows what i think are my biggest strengths and weaknesses well. My biggest strength is how i am able to put ideas down and make it to my liking and fit it to my vision. I find it easy to gather ideas from things i have read or watched and put them into my own words and will continue to brainstorm my ideas like this in the future . My weakness is pruning i have a tough time looking back at my work for mistakes and things that should be stated in the paragraphs or sentences. I have a habit of reading my work like I’m speaking it causing me to say things that wouldn’t make sense unless said out loud this and proper punctuation will be things i will have to work towards to change in my writing.

Core Competency Self-Reflection

Writing is a challenge for me not overall, but specific parts that come with formatting a proper essay or paragraph. I find putting my ideas down and explaining them to other people easy. Since i do not have trouble putting something down in my own words. However when it comes to turning ideas into fully thought out writing. I struggle with finding the right words to connect my ideas together in a way that makes sense. I think writing about ourselves or making our own events up is easier then writing a story from someone else since it makes me think about the right words to describe someone else in a way that makes sense. I don’t really want to or do practice my writing outside of school even though i can recognize the importance of it.
