In this lab which is the titration lab for Chemistry 11, we use both acids and bases to find the molarity of the given hydrochloric acid. We were tasked with finding the molarity by dropping the base in and getting the colour of a magenta, everything was very precise so we would be tested on dispensing careful amounts of the base into the flask. We would then take data from the measurements to conclude the final amount of base needed and then calculated the final molarity of the acid.
during this, I worked on the critical by seeing the artifact react and drawing conclusions to the artifact. here i had to make judgments on when the acid had the right amount of magenta tint to finalize the correct amount to calculate the molarity. I had to repeat the lab 4 times to be able to get the right amount of data that matched up correctly for me to draw my conclusions.
