Core Competency Reflection

My strategies for collecting relevant information for specific tasks include being able to save my money during this project and spending it wisely while trying not to buy to much things or accidentally get to greedy with the 150 that I was given for the project.

I can describe how to use taxes when shopping, relates to this experience I had where I had to buy food for Christmas dinner and I was given 300 and if I went over it I would have to put stuff back which is something I didn’t want to do so I only got the food which I knew the tax was 5% and my total cost was 243.50.

The ways I communicate at school differ from how I communicate at work in these ways: I talk in a more commanding / ordering method to my co-workers and in school I talk in a more calm and order fashioned tone

I am going to work on being an active listener by not getting distracted by my phone while someone is speaking, being on it most the block and just out the blue listen more because I don’t really listen and then I don’t know what to do
