Nutrition and a healthy lifestyle can contribute significantly to one’s overall wellbeing. When we eat a balanced and nutritious diet, we provide our bodies with the essential nutrients it needs to function optimally. This includes things like vitamins, minerals, fiber, and protein. A balanced diet also helps to maintain a healthy weight, which reduces the risk of chronic diseases such as obesity, heart disease, and type 2 diabetes.
