Persuasion and Advertisement Techniques

Our advertisement is for a shoe that will help with walking and running with its increased grip due to using Goodyear tire parts, in the sole of the shoe. We used logical and ethical persuasion strategies. The logical strategy was used because we put facts about the shoe in the advertisement. The ethical strategy was used because we included an endorsement from a well-known actor/celebrity. Me and Deiuss used the Testimonial and Special Offer advertisement techniques. We used the testimonial technique by having a famous person (Ryan Reynolds) say that our product was great. We used the Special Offer technique by having the shoes be 50% off of the regular price.

I can understand and share information about a topic of interest in a clear, organized way.

I chose this competency because Deiuss and I made our presentation about a topic of interest (our shoe advertisement.) I also chose this competency because we made our presentation as organized as possible.

I can show a sense of accomplishment and joy. I take pride in my work and myself.

I chose this competency because I was proud of what I made and felt accomplished once we finished and handed it in.

I chose this competency because I was able to take what Deiuss did with the project, and build upon it and make it even better.

I chose this competency because my partner and I worked on this for a couple days, and were overall very pleased with the end result.
