I can connect and engage with others to share and develop ideas. By engaging in formal and structured conversation, I can listen and contribute to the class and my peers. I’ll also attempt to develop understanding relationships. Like in my English classes, striving to connect to my schoolmates are my goal.
I can identify criteria that I can use to analyze evidence. By learning to analyze and make judgements about a work, a process, a performance, or another product or act. Like in Math, analyzing will be a good opportunity to learn how to focus on how to draw conclusions.
I understand that learning is continuous, and my concept of self-identity will continue to evolve. Finding self-identity is an important thing to consider. How I can accomplish this goal is by trying something new and discovering new things every day.
For my French Poster Project, we were supposed to choose a movie and give descriptions of it in French. The movie that chose is Spiderman: No Way Home. The core competency that best described the process for this project would be creative writing. I involved the ideas and concepts that are novel and innovative values. I can also develop a body of creative work over time as you can tell with the finished work.
Titration is a type of quantitative chemical analysis. It is used to work out the unknown concentration of a known substance. It makes the use of two main tools, the pipette and burette. In this lab, we learned the concentration of HCl because of the titration. The endpoint of a titration means the acid is 100% neutralized. During this lab, the neutralized HCl turned light pink for 30 seconds and then dissolved. We completed 3 trials in which our standard volume of NaOH was 10.24 mL. Our moles HCl were 0.00102mL making our concentration 0.102M.
For the core competencies, I used critical and reflective thinking when doing this lab. We used different strategies to solve our conflicting problem that we didn’t know the answer to. We also analyzed evidence to make grave decisions and to draw conclusions in our lab. With having feedback from our teacher, we investigated on how our solution could become the lightest shade of pink. By determinedly doing all of those, we finally have reached our goal to titrate a hydrochloric acid solution of unknown concentration with standardized sodium hydroxide.
À Vancouver, nous avons deux saisons, la pluie et le soleil. La pluie arrive le plus souvent au printemps, en automne et en hiver. Alors que le soleil arrive en été. La neige est quelque chose qui n’arrive qu’en janvier et février. Même si la neige fond très vite. Nous avons quatre saisons. printemps, été, automne et hiver. Mon préféré est l’hiver. Je n’aime pas le temps chaud. Comme l’hiver n’a pas de chaleur, il fait plus froid, ce que j’apprécie. Je n’aime pas l’été, c’est quand même le moment idéal pour profiter des activités car les autres saisons sont pleines de pluie.
Core Competency Reflection
I can ask questions, make predictions, and use my senses to gather information. By asking questions in to my peers, I can have a better understanding as to what I’m supposed to do and to make sure to complete assignments. Somethings that enhanced my vocabulary and my learning are cue cards. They are helpful for memorization and for spelling. By expressing yourself through another language, you need confidence and self-assurance with an open mind in order to fulling embrace convey using another language. It is something that I’m working on but I hope to make sure my journey with learning French ends with a good note.
In this collaborative core competency, I coordinate my work with other people to exceed my assignments. In my example, I used the ‘Indigenous History Time’ to display my work. My partner and I worked together accordingly. The both of us selected parts for each of us to do for us to complete our assignment. In the core-competency, I used ‘seeking others’ because we both did our parts, listened to ideas and speculations, as well as take turns in our discussions.
Galatians left rolling hills and valleys. Volcano eruptions pushed easy and flatted the area.It created rich soil so it’s good with agriculture and it creates manufacturing industries since we trades with America. We trade soil for machinery, food and clothes.
Climate
Semi-continental Climate (warm/humid weather in the summer and cold in the winters) It is cold in the winter because of the arctic air. And it’s warm air from the tropical winds. A lot of rain causes good agriculture from mild front. Good sun cause good temperature for plants.
Vegetation
The Lowlands has many different fields and forests containing sugar, maple, basswood, red oak, and American breech. It is all due to the Great Lakes. It leads to variety different vegetations. Also since there are a lot of forests there are good farming and garden shops
