Critical and Reflective Thinking

My Artifact: To Kill A Mockingbird Test
My Artifact: To Kill A Mockingbird Test

i demonstrated my critical and reflective thinking through the TKAM test we did in English class. I did this by answering the questions given with as much detail as possible. On the “quotes and significance” part on the test, we were to identify the speaker of a quote from book and indicate why it is significant. I spent time to reflect on how the quote relates back to the main story and why it may relate to the themes of the book. This part, along with the short answer questions, made me consider the reasons “To Kill A Mockingbird” is an important story to read that teaches us moral lessons, provides us a perspective on racial prejudice and injustice through the lens of the Finch family, and how these topics may be prevalent in society today. I hope to continue to work on my critical and reflective thinking through different book studies.
