Life Saving Measures

A few things that I learned from the CPR presentation is that cardiac arrest can last for several hours so you have to be ready to perform CPR for hours which could be very tiring on my body. Another thing that I learned is that you should be careful when discharging the AED around puddles of water because it could electrocute you or other people, this can be very useful if something happens at the beach or the pool. another thing that I learned is when performing CPR on an infant you should only use two fingers so that you don’t harm the infant.

Critical and Reflective Thinking Competency Reflection

I can analyze evidence to make judgments by staying calm in high pressure situations, analyzing my surroundings and making sure that if I ever get out of control I can calm myself with the help of others or my own techniques.
