This years Volleyball season went decently well for the junior team as we did better then last year. Other things that went well were a lot of my classes and could feel myself improving in subjects like Science and Math. I’m going to try and maintain these grades for next year.
Areas to improve
Although we did better this year in Volleyball I feel I can still up my game so I’m going to improve and practice when I have the chance. Going to open gyms and hanging out with people to help me up my game.
When I need to boost my mood or re-focus I put on some music on and listen for a little bit. If I feel more stressed out on a bigger project or test I might play games for a little bit to relax a little bit and once I don’t feel stressed I go back to working on my work. When I am sad, angry or frustrated, taking a shower helps me be more productive. I take a shower to calm me down if I feel frustrated doing a project that might make me moody. It calms me down so after I come out of showering I can continue working on what I was doing before In discussions and conversations, I help to build and extend understanding by asking questions to build on my ideas. By asking questions I can stem off from their answer and I can also get new ideas from their replies as well. A goal for me is to find a strategy that will help me with my imagination to help me when I’m stuck and have nothing coming to mind.

I feel I used creative thinking while making this because I had to think of myself write what I feel is important to me. I had to look back on what I have done and cared for to put on a card that represents a small piece of what is me
When I need to boost my mood or re-focus, I… take a 10-to-15-minute break by watching a shorty YouTube video. If I am stuck and/or get a hard question listen to one of my favorite songs and close my books. After I finish the song, I usually feel better and can work on the question again.
When I am sad, angry or frustrated, doing… helps me be more productive or calm. When I am feeling these emotions, I usually go outside and take short walks. After doing this my mind feels clear and I can go on with my day afterwards as I feel calmer.
Some of the ways I work to build and maintain relationships are… find if I have some similarities with this person and make friends with them. Whether it be hobbies or interests. After I do this, I hang out with them and meet their friends which expands the people that I meet and know.
Goals for myself this school year would be getting better grades for myself as I feel this will help me in the future. Getting good grades and working on improving them can help me do better in school. Another goal would be to make more connections this year. Last year was more focusing on meeting a few new people since it was a new school, but now that I know a few people I feel it’s better to meet even more people to try and get it know them. Lastly for my final goal I want to try and become more involved with my school even if it’s just a tiny bit. I’ll try what I can because without trying I won’t succeed. At the very least I want to become involved in sports or more clubs.
