Math 11 Foundations Stats Unit Self Assessment

In Foundations of Math 11, statistics, I have learned many things and evolved my brain from saying, “this much percentage is going to happen in my guess.” To “according to the math calculations of my statistics knowledge, this is going to happen.” One of the statistics I newly learned was confidence intervals and margin of error. The confidence intervals and margin of error can be used in real-life situations, like, how the result of your survey came up, selling amounts, etc. A part of the Unit I felt I understood the most was learning the confidence intervals and margin of error, it was simple to understand and to do because all I had to do was find the margin of error and add it to the percentage or value. A challenge I struggle with most was the distribution method because some of the questions I have done were confusing and I didn’t know if I had to use the value, percentage, etc. on part of a question. I overcame this challenge by getting help by asking questions. For something I like to work on, I do not have anything that I can work on or like to work on. That is all for my assessment.
