Math Self Assessment

When I am sad, angry or frustrated, breathing exercises, and drawing comforting things help me be more productive or calm.

The ways I communicate at school differ from how I communicate at home in these ways: At school when I communicate I tend to be more nervous, cautious, and quiet when I speak, I also try to listen intently in class and convey my questions/work clearly(though still tend to be messy). Home is a bit different.

Examples of where I communicate clearly and purposefully can be seen in my math assignments where I clearly record my process in finding answers to questions.

To celebrate an accomplishment such as getting a good mark on a test, I tell my family and friends and metaphorically pat myself on the back. 🙂

I demonstrated creative thinking in my portrait assignment.

To make this portrait and the elements in it, I first thought about what colors I associate with the person I’m drawing, I then looked at color blocking artwork and came up with my own shapes and lines based on the image I had for my portrait. I also condensed the image to basic shapes so that it would be easier for me to color block and draw.
