Tim Burton, in Edward Scissorhands, uses the pwaterbed scene in

order to make Edward and Kim meet in an awkward way and potentially set up a relationship. For example, in my

own interpretation, I ­­­­­­kept most of the scene the same, Edward hiding in the bed, bla bla. But i actually gave Edward a line which was “Sorry!” when Kim screamed. I tried keeping the same angles but with storyboard it was pretty hard.

This adaptation from film to visual novel taught me a few things. One is that storyboard is annoying to use on the phone and it’s hard to recreate the scene as a visual novel.
