Turning leftovers into something new

I made chicken divan. I used leftover chicken from the previous nights dinner which inspired me too make this dish. The first sense I used in this dish was touch when I had to clean and chop up the broccoli. Then I used smell when i shredded up the chicken fro the night before and it smelled so good. Next I used hearing when the boiling water was ready to steam the broccoli in. And then I used my eyesight when i saw the result of the final product. Finally I used taste when the dish was finished and we ate dinner, it was very delicious. I did use a recipe for this dish. If I was able to make this dish again one thing I would change was the seasonings because I found that there wasn’t enough salt or pepper in the dish. One challenge I overcame was when there wasn’t enough sauce to cover the dish, I overcame this by adding more milk to the sauce in order to make it thinner. My greatest success in this dish was putting all the ingredients together to make the final product because it looked good and was successful. I am most proud of the final product of this dish because I have never made it before and it turned out good.
