About Me

My Bio

My name is Daniel,

I learn best when I am listening to music, or have some sort of background noise, because otherwise my thoughts can end up a bit muddled.

When I’m having difficulty with something, I will first try to figure it out and see what I might be doing wrong, or if there’s something I can be doing differently. If that doesn’t work I usually ask my dad for help, or my sister. If that doesn’t work, then I will go to google. Though if I’m in class, I will just ask my teacher.

My best courses, or courses I find easier, are Math and Science. They have always come easier to me then other subjects, and so far I have always done very well in them.

My most challenging course has always been English. Unlike Math and Science it doesn’t always have a singular correct answer, so I have found it more difficult. Although, more recently I have improved in it.

My strengths include getting my work done on time, being a focused learner, and working well on my own, as well as with others, although I usually prefer to work alone.

My biggest stretch is probably that, although I almost always finish my work on time, I often procrastinate and don’t study for tests. Luckily for me, so far this hasn’t really impacted how well I did on them.

My Favourite Website

I don’t really visit a lot of website so it would probably be either YouTube or Spotify. I tend to gravitate towards entertainment based websites.

One of my Favourite Videos

I will usually have this playing in the background while working on something, and I’ll skip around to different time slots in the video depending on my mood.
Fun fact, I was listening to this while working on this blog.

My Favourite Image

This is a picture I took of my dog last year. I like going back and looking at it; I also have it as the background on my phone. I love my dog a lot, so 90% of the photos on my phone are of him.

Two of my Favourite Quotes

“Life is rarely pure and never simple.” – Oscar Wilde

I like this first quote as I agree with it. In life you might not always know the full story, and sometimes thing aren’t black and white, but shades of grey.

“The key to being happy is knowing you have the power to choose what to accept and what to let go.” – Dobinsky

The second quote, to me, says that if you want to be happy in life all you need to do is change to your perspective and how you view things.
