If there is disagreement within the group, I find it helpful to – find some sort of common ground among us and resolve the issue. I find it much easier to resolve an issue with a compromise rather than a settlement. I plan on using this strategy as a problem solving technique this year anytime I have group work.
I can put myself out there if it mean getting work done – If I am ever group with quieter people or an awkward group, I can step up and put myself out there. It would be easier to work if one person is being louder, and if no one else steps up I am willing to be that student.
I understand others ideas and connect with them – I find it easier to see others ideas from their perspectives and add them to our work. It makes much more harmonious work if everyone is can work on the same level and brain wave. I will try and implement this to more of my group work this year by opening up about my idea and asking others about theirs.
