Communicate and collaboration

Through this assignment I have learned that I can use proper communication and collaboration skills. In this project, I had to use collaboration skills to properly work with my partner, I had to work as a team. While working with my partner we were able to give input and constructive criticism to each other while not coming off condescending. This wasn’t the only communication and collaboration that I had to face, I also had to communicate with the teacher that I was working on the promo video for. I had to email the teacher and get feedback from them. This assignment took both communication and collaboration as I had to both communicate and work with others and think about a group rather than just myself.

  • My teacher has assigned the class to make a body biography related to the characters within the novel “Kill A Mockingbird”. My group of four includes Katalina, Eshana, Sabrina and myself. We have picked the Character Atticus Finch from the novel. While doing this project together we have communicated, discussed and assessed each other. We have all communicated to assist each other to get things done during this project, we have utilized communication. For example in the event that we didn’t get enough data to put on our body biography, we would go to the novel and examine what other things we may include in our project to make it way better. I feel like working as a group truly makes a difference, I feel as in a group each person is forced to work on their work ethic, because they don’t want to let anyone down. I believe that it helps with things Such as communication, socials skills and basic thinking. We may continuously work on areas we struggle and battle in as well. For myself I believe that I would like to work on critical thinking; thinking outside the box while working as a group of four. I believe that thinking outside the box is a trait that I would like to get better at.

Reflections On Competencies and content

One ability we learned in lesson was taking input from others on our projects and utilizing it to progress the project. This can be the same to testing items in real life as you should see what the clients think around it as well as what you think about it. Another expertise we learned within the lesson is giving supportive input on others projects to help them on improving it in any way. This is often accommodating as within the real world you’ll get paid fair to undertake items and give input on it.
