Through this assignment I have learned that I can use proper communication and collaboration skills. In this project, I had to use collaboration skills to properly work with my partner, I had to work as a team. While working with my partner we were able to give input and constructive criticism to each other while not coming off condescending. This wasn’t the only communication and collaboration that I had to face, I also had to communicate with the teacher that I was working on the promo video for. I had to email the teacher and get feedback from them. This assignment took both communication and collaboration as I had to both communicate and work with others and think about a group rather than just myself.
I can identify my strengths and limits, find internal motivation, and act on opportunities for self-growth. I take responsibility for making ethical decisions.
When I was sick I fell behind with assignments, so I was able to come back and get most of them done. I was able to find internal motivation to complete the assignments. I had to make my own decisions to figure out what to do. I was able to identify my strengths and use those to figure out my limits. I would like to keep up with all my assignments and study more.
I can show a sense of accomplishment and joy, and express some wants, needs, and preferences. I can sometimes recognize my emotions.
an example of this would be the warm ups, when I get to put my input and explain what I think on certain things. this allows me to realize and recognize my emotions. I would like to explain stuff more, so people and myself could get a better understanding on what I am talking about. that is what I would like to work on for this semester.
A digital footprint is your presences online, games, apps, and other social medias. Your digital footprint could be considered good or bad, depending on what you post, comment, or get tagged in. If you are planning to get a certain job, or you want to go to a certain school, you should keep your digital footprint clean. A way to keep your footprint clean, is to not post you doing drugs, drinking alcohol, and not doing illegal activities. Another way is to not say stupid comments, and not getting tagged in posts.
You should also set your privacy settings, you need to know what should be public, and what should be private. Before every time you post something, you should consider your future, and think about what you are posting. The last thing that you want to happen is you are applying for a job, and then they pull up some stuff that you posted online. When you post something, make sure it is a positive post, for you and any other person it might be reflected to. Part of having a good digital footprint, is self-regulation. If you don’t control yourself, and slip you could hurt your future, or maybe even your life. Nothing can be taken off the internet, once it is out there, it is gone.
In this picture, the lady is getting harassed, this is what it is like online. She could have posted something, and some of them might like it, and some could have been offended.
REFLECTION:
I make digital ethical choices such as not posting anything online that could affect my future in any way, shape, or form. I do this in order to stay out of trouble, and people don’t need to see what I am doing all day every day. Some of my preferred strategies for maintaining a healthy, balanced online presence include keeping off illegal websites, not saying hurtful comments, and not liking things that could get me in trouble, like people doing drugs and people being racist. Some of the ways I work to build and maintain online relationships are to communicate and text people, with a good message hoping to brighten up their days. I try to make sure that I don’t offend anyone, with a comment or bad message, in order to keep a good digital footprint, and not to hurt them.
