The project was about using creativity to design a city with values that are important to you. The program we used was a website called City Creator. Me and my partner communicated in-person and exchanged contacts. We listened to each other’s ideas by writing down our values, then sharing them with each other deciding on the final 5 we would do. We would provide feedback by going over the notes we typed for each value and suggesting a way to design our city. We decided to both share the responsibilities when one person designed, and one person wrote about the values. Then we would switch, so the other person has a chance to design or write things as well. Each member contributed fairly because we both put the same amount of effort, and basically halved the work in the writing process. I think we worked well because it was easy to communicate and ask questions together. We also used our time wisely as we were done with the design and value description in one class. We finished the project in one day, and we only had the reflections and Edu blog post left to do. Decisions were made when we both agreed and shared about our ideas. There weren’t many problems, but maybe it was hard to share the city creator map, but we worked it out when we decided to work, then switch as I explained before. I am satisfied with the final product because the map was made efficiently without wasting time. Maybe a way we can improve is making decisive choices as we were both indecisive about the name of the city.
