Our business plan is to give people a game to have fun with and entertainment for all ages. Our most difficult part of our plan is to make the actual game and its rules so everyone can have fun.
The core competency I chose is our group communicated well because… I chose this because we did very good communication to tell who is doing what with out game
Making this recipe had crucial steps to make the outcome of this, some of the steps is to cook the rice ahead of time so this recipe can be fast when we make it with all ingredients ready. Another is to perfectly cook the egg so it doesn’t overcook in the fried rice. Chopping and preparing the ingredients is key so the fried rice has small bite sized veggies. Cooking the veggies to perfection so that they don’t overcook is also crucial. Lastly the sauce is the 2nd important ingredient to this dish as it provides the fried rice taste.

One goal I have is to work with people and take bigger roles when needed and the ways I communicate. Ways to achieve that is to be prepared and have a good attitude.
I found that the end of the product life cycle, the way each company competes with others, and how brand names expanding into different places can have conflict

I demonstrated communicating with group members as I think I did a good job with communicating for the process of the powerpoint.
I am reflecting on “Create food products, working individually or collaboratively, and making changes as needed” and “Critically evaluate the success of meals, and explain how design ideas contribute to the individual, family, community, and environment. I think I had done good in creating food products and working with others or by myself as the more recipes we did. After a couple of food labs I got the hang of working in groups of 3, in partners, and by myself when my partner is going for ingredients or if I am going for ingredients. I also did make changes in the event it was needed such as if my partner was away for one of the labs, I was able to adjust. The only struggle I had was a bit of communication while in the process of cooking. But I overall think I did great. I also properly evaluated the meals I created, if they were good or not, and if I would ever make them again.

One goal I have going forward is being better at showing how I value feedback, I think sometimes I take feedback a bit too personal and it could lead to a bad group experience, so I want to improve in that.
Overall, I learned new things about public speaking that could’ve learned in the past that could help me. New things I learned was 1 for powerpoints look at the laptop screen instead of looking back, this helped me a lot for looking more focused into my parts and easily reading on what parts I need to do in case I forgot. I also tried not looking directly at the audience but looking slightly higher as it took away any stuttering that I used to have with public speaking before. I also as part of audience just payed attention without doing anything silly to distract the presenter. I felt more comfortable speaking with the recent powerpoints than the past with these new tricks.

This is our advertisement for a Asus laptop on sale for 20% off.
This project is to advertise a laptop on sale that would appeal to people in Panem. We used an eye appeal technique to grab attention of the person looking at the ad that this laptop is on sale for 20% off. We highlighted the 20% off in yellow due to the brightness of the yellow which overtakes the other colours in the picture to grab every person’s eye. Our ad is a plain folk ad as it would appeal to anyone in Panem as its affordable and a valuable item to buy. The final thought for the reader would be to look into the laptop and buy it since its on sale only for a limited time.
This presentation helped me in group work in social and skill as I got more involved than past recent work with my contribution to this project. The second thing that it helped me in was the feedback as I in cases where I didn’t agree with a thing on our project told what could make it better in some cases. The third thing would be asking help, I asked help when really needed unlike the past where I would try to do it on my own which was a huge problem. The last thing would be building upon someone’s idea, I took criticism and suggestions from my group members to help make my contribution better as well as do the same thing with my other group members.
I demonstrated communication in my storyboard by making the characters communicate in each story slide. Personal and social were demonstrated by each slide having 2 characters socializing. Finally, I demonstrated thinking by carefully reviewing every slide and adding the characters thinking before responding.
I learned things such as the different types of contracts, Oral contract, written contract, and the basics about how a contract works like it basically being a promise.
I was able to demonstrate working with others as we did the examples in a group, ask and respond to questions while we were working, and disagree respectfully in the event I didn’t like someone’s idea.
