For this tutorial, we will be using Canva, a graphic design platform that allows users to create graphics, presentations and other visual contents for free.
Use Canva to create wallpapers
- Sign up for an account– to create your own Canva account, you need to sign up with an email, google account or Facebook. After you get signed up, you will be asked to choose why you are using Canva. Select Personal. Then click in the top right corner to skip Canva Pro signup.
2. Next, you can type in wallpaper and you will have an option to create a Desktop or Phone wallpaper.
3. After you click on a desktop wallpaper or a phone wallpaper, a white canvas/ space should appear. This is were you can create your own wallpaper. You can use the tools on the left to add elements, upload an photo or add text to your wallpaper.
If you have a theme in mind, you can chosen a template in the the template section. You can search up specific words and themes. Many templates are free, but some of them are not, so make sure you know which one you are using.
If you choose to use one of the templates, you can click on the elements to change them. For example, click on the text to change the font, color or content. You can also click on and drag the elements.
4. Click the Download button in the top right, you can save this as a PNG file.
Windows- right click the file you downloaded, the click set as desktop background.
Mac– right click a photo in Photos app, click share, the click Set Desktop Picture.
