How to Download FREE Procreate Brushes

After purchasing Procreate in the App Store, you will notice that it includes a limited number of brushes. From this Tech Tip, you will learn how to download different types of Procreate brushes without purchasing. In addition, you will learn how to import the brushes into your Procreate App after downloading them.

  1. Search up “Free Procreate Brushes” on Google, you might find some free resources from different websites.
  2. Brushes for Procreate provides many free brush sets and individual brushes, click here to go to their page.

Downloading and Importing on iPad

  1. Find the right brushes that you would like to download, click on Download Brushes or Brush Set.

2. After clicking Download Brush Set, the brushes should be saved in our files. You can access the brushes by click on Downloads. Clicking on it will automatically import the brushes to your Procreate app.

How To Host A Zoom Meeting

  1. Sign up for a Zoom account if you do not have one already, click here to sign up for an account now.
  2. You can use the email and the password you have created, or use a Google account to sign in with.

Hosting a Meeting

First, you will need to have the Zoom app installed on your device:

  1. Open your Zoom App on your device and Sign In to the account you have created.

2. After signing in, click the downward arrow and select Start with video, then click New Meeting to start an instant meeting.

Tech Tip- How to Use OneDrive

How to Upload your files to One Drive:

  1. Sign into your Office 365 account.
  2. Select the OneDrive app.
  3. Select Upload (top in the menu bar), then choose to upload Files or Folders. You can also drag and drop the flies.

Create Files & Folders:

  1. Select New (also top in the menu bar).
  2. choose the file type, or folder.

Sharing Files and Folders:

  1. Select the files or folders (should have a blue check mark once selected)
  2. Select Share (also top menu bar)
  3. Enter the email addresses of the people that you would like to share the files with.
  4. You can choose to add a message, then click Send.
  5. another way to share your files is to Copy Link, then send the link to others.

Tech Tutorial- Google Drive (sharing files)

By using Google Drive, you can share your files with others by copying a link.

  1. Go to Google Drive
  2. Upload the files you would like to share with others (if unsure how to upload a file or a folder, click here)
  3. After clicking and opening up the folder or file you would like to share, click share. (the icon should be in the top right corner)
  4. Under People, type in the email address of the person you would like the share the file with. You have the option to share the file with anyone with link. You can do that by changing the setting below.
  5. Click send or you can copy the link and send it to others.

Instead of sharing your screens to show a file or a document when doing a zoom meeting, you can upload the files on Google Drive, then copy the link and posting it under the chat, so others also have access to the files.

Tech Tutorial- Google Drive (Upload Files)

Google Drive is a cloud storage service that allows the user to save various files to the cloud. You can then access them on your Google account.

How to upload a file onto Google Drive?

  1. go to
  2. at the top left corner, you should see the New+ button.
  3. click on the New+ button, then select File Upload
  4. Select the files you want to upload
  5. you can also organize all you files that you would like to upload into one folder, and just upload the whole folder
  6. click and drag to move a file into a folder

Tech Tip- Google Tab Groups

A way to organize your Google Tabs is to create a group tab. The group tabs allows you to stay organized with all the sites that you have open. It can be hard to find the tab that you are looking for when you have several tabs opened at the same time.

Steps to creating a group tab:

  1. When you have your tab open, try right clicking it and you will need to click on Add tab to new group.
  2. Select the category/ name and colour for the tab group
  3. The tab should have an underlined colour of you choice and the name included on the left side of your tabs.
  4. Do the same to all the other tabs that you would like to organize. The tab groups that you have already created should show up when you are adding tab to a new group.
