Create and Communicate

This is my artist spotlight poster, I created a poster on a female artist Lee Maracle. By making this project and learning about the artist, I learned about Lee Maracle writings and herself. She has made many novels and texts about Indigenous issues woman and others have faced. Through this project I’ve grown on my creative skills by making a relevant poster and my listening/ viewing skills by researching and engaging effort. By learning more about indigenous issues, I’ve taken another step towards reconciliation and encourage others to continue to learn.

During this course, I’ve expanded on my creative thinking. I am able to create and design projects with meaningful and thoughtful ideas behind them. I analyze evidence and make decisions on what to add or not to my projects. I am able to see what is important or not.
