Dungeons & Dragons Adventures & Teamwork 11

(aka Social Dynamics in Table-Top Role Playing Games 11) 

Come join us create adventures and defeat villains in the greatest collaborative table-top role playing game of D&D. The focus is game play, collaborative story creation and teamwork. Participants will explore group dynamics, design characters, monsters, encounters, as well as 3D figurine printing & painting, map production and other design elements. No experience necessary and no prerequisite for this course. Open to all grade levels.

Chess 10

Chess 10 is designed to introduce students to the grand world of chess, including a brief history of chess, chess in culture, rules & etiquette of chess, and how to read & record chess games. Basic strategy, tactics, opening, middle and endgame theory will also be introducedTo develop skills, students will play class tournaments and play remotely through an on-line chess communityBy the end, students will be knowledgeable in playing chess and will benefit from the logical, critical, analytical & creative thinking skills that chess provides — skills that transfer to all subject areas and all facets of life. No experience is necessary and no prerequisite for this course. Open to all grade levels.
