Fitness and Conditioning 11/12: Soccer Class
This course is designed for any student who wants to become an elite soccer player. Athletes not only need to be technically gifted, but they also need to have a certain amount of sport specific knowledge and education that doesn’t always develop strictly on the field. This course combines the technical and tactical development of on the field soccer with fitness/strength conditioning, game principles/philosophies, film analysis, nutrition, leadership enhancement, as well as coaching philosophies. Classroom instruction and functional strength training will accompany the on-field player development in this course. This course will run in the AM block from September-November and April-June.
Open to: Grade 9, 10, 11, and 12 students
